"Health Minister opens 20 million-dollar Pakuranga Health Centre"

NZ Dr reported "Before cutting the ribbon, David Clark, flanked by MP for Pakuranga Simeon Brown and Counties Manukau DHB chief executive Margie Apa told guests the new centre exemplified how integrated care can start with primary care.
“This is the model we are wanting to move to more and more around New Zealand.
“Having a multidisciplinary team working together is invaluable for patient outcomes, this is what patients need, this is what patients want.”

MP Simeon Brown says the area serviced by the medical centre is poised for “enormous amounts of growth” led by housing developments.
Despite such challenges, the “incredible” new centre will lead to increased healthcare access and better health outcomes for residents.
